Privacy
Accounts
Optional account access uses secure Sign in with ChatGPT. Rapid Radar receives the account identifier, email address and available display name needed to recognize your account; it does not receive or store your password.
Saved preferences
Signed-in users may save one primary location and selected preferences. Radar colours, labels and sound choices can also remain stored locally in the browser. Professional Mode saves alert preferences and custom bulletin drafts on your device. Drafts are not published or synchronized to a team account. Voice announcements use your browser’s speech service and selected voice, which may be provided by your operating system or a remote speech provider.
Location
Your browser asks for precise location only after you press a location control. It is used to move the map or filter nearby alerts. A primary city is saved only when you deliberately choose Save Location.
Weather reports
Submitted reports are connected to the signed-in account for moderation. Reports remain pending until reviewed and are not represented as official government warnings.
Third-party data
The map requests public weather and map resources from identified providers. Those providers may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address.
Payments
Rapid Radar Pro and Professional are not currently for sale. No payment information is collected by this public build.
